Wodehouse bathroom
Queen’s Park, London
Named after the client’s collection of P.G Wodehouse books, Wodehouse bathroom is calming, contemporary master bathroom that retains and celebrates original Victorian features, which was key to the client’s brief at their home in Queen’s Park. The small space feels light and airy, yet includes a generous freestanding bath and walk-in shower, with the original fireplace forming a central feature.
The bathroom space includes an eclectic mix of framed black and white photos, sketches and prints to align with the rest of the Victorian house, where artwork and books feature heavily.
The materials palette is restrained, using calming neutrals complemented with warm walnut, and features a solid surface countertop, splashback and freestanding bath, giving a contemporary feel.
